Dan Kingsley

is a founding partner and Chairman of the San Francisco Recovery Fund. Dan was previously co-founder of SKS Partners, one of the most prominent developers of commercial real estate in San Francisco, with more than 40 years of real estate investment and development experience. Over his career, Dan has played a major role in the planning, entitlement, design, and construction of over 14 million square feet of Class A office, hotel, and mixed-use building development. He has a 100% career success rate in the approval of entitlements for development projects. His projects include 181 Fremont (Meta), 888 Brannan (Airbnb), UCSF Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building, UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences, and the Berkeley Space Center. Dan received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon. Dan is a multi-generational San Franciscan and serves on the boards of several local philanthropic and charitable organizations, such DAFgiving360 (formerly Schwab Charitable), The Downtown SF Partnership, and Advance SF.

Jay Yang

is a founding partner and CEO of the San Francisco Recovery Fund. He is a real estate entrepreneur and former investor at Goldman Sachs, TPG Capital, and Meritage Group. Jay earned a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a long-time San Francisco resident and lives in the city with his wife and three children.
